Mission

The Accelerator aims to bolster New York's expanding offshore wind industry by scaling the most promising and impactful innovations. Selected cohort companies receive tailored support from all program partners to advance their technology development and commercialization objectives. 

Member Community

The Offshore Wind Innovation Hub Community

We are leveraging the space of the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub to build New York City’s community of offshore wind stakeholders. Hub Community members become part of the growing and empowering offshore wind industry ecosystem, where coworking and collective activities provide a framework for collaboration and knowledge sharing. This is a unique and free opportunity to engage with your peers, and together we will strengthen entrepreneurial opportunities of both global industry-leading startups and the local community.

Entities interested in becoming Hub Community members may express their interest year-round. Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to be a contributor to the ecosystem, and coherence with the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub mission.

Community Perks

Members will have several opportunities to engage with the other community members and obtain industry insights. The benefits and activities are all aimed at enabling our members to drive innovation and collaboration.

    As a Hub Community member, you get access to the floater desks and meeting facilities at the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub

    We host regular happy hours and breakfast gatherings that enable our Hub Community members to meet and expand their network

  • Expert Seminars

    Exclusive invitations and updates on learning opportunities that provide you with industry insights and professional development

Eligible Entities

We welcome a wide range of entities to express their interest in joining our community. These include:

  • Startups or corporations with solutions that are directly connected to the offshore wind industry

  • NGOs and CBOs that are active within the offshore wind ecosystem

  • Entities that have collaborative connections to Offshore Wind Innovation Hub partners, including Equinor, the National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium, New York City Economic Development Corporation or NYU Tandon.
